Just how important is being fit? The answer is very, but if that doesn’t convince you then let us explain in a little more detail:

Keeping fit has a selection of health benefits that are important both now and as you age. Regular exercise increases bone strength and density, helps you to control your weight, improves your balance, increases flexibility, makes you feel happier, increases the performance of your lungs and heart, helps to prevent (or control) diabetes and boosts self esteem.

As you get older these factors become all the more important. Wouldn’t you like to still be mobile and healthy at 75, or even 85?

Triyoga

Triyoga runs over 100 classes per week which include hot yoga, pregnancy yoga and pilates. There really is a class for everybody. You can try 2 weeks of unlimited yoga for just £20.

Triyoga also offers treatments such as acupuncture, energy healing and holistic massage. Whether you’re feeling spiritual or just seeking some calm ‘you time’ in a peaceful environment we’d definitely recommend stopping by Triyoga.

Fitness First 

On Kingly Street you’ll find Fitness First, a fantastic gym that has a lot to offer. Inside Fitness First you’ll find the gym, cardio theatre, sauna, lounge area and sunbeds.

One of the great things about Fitness First is that they also offer a ‘Multi Club’ option meaning that you can pay a little extra per month and have access to a selection of different Fitness First gyms. This is especially useful for people who would like to be able workout both near work and near home.

H2 Soho

Situated mere moments away from Carnaby Street in Dufours Place is H2 Soho. If you’re into running or cycling (or think you might be interested!) this is the place for you. You can even park your bike outside in the secure bike racks.

The club hosts H2 Ride which is London’s first Spinning only Studio! Spinning is one of the highest calorie burning exercises out there, so it’s well worth a try!

You can choose to pay by class if you want to give it a go and see for yourself.

Now, if you’re going to go workout you’re going to need something to wear! Sweaty Betty is a fabulous girls-only (sorry boys) fitness clothing brand. There’s everything you need for running, yoga and more.
