Halloween in London

Back to Blog

Leaves are beginning to fall and orange is suddenly everybody’s favourite colour. But what’s on this Halloween?

Halloween 1

Here at W&B we love an excuse to dress up, so come join us on Saturday 31st and get into the Halloween spirit!  There will be pumpkins (we love pumpkins), special cocktail brews, and rewards for any customers who dress to impress. Keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter for more details.

If that’s not enough excitement for you, here are some other devilish good ideas to enjoy Halloween in London.

Game of Thrones Halloween Party

Yes, you read it right! Come on GOT fans – this is the one for you!

Finch’s Pub is hosting a GOT themed Halloween evening on Friday 30th October. There are themed cocktails including ‘Winter Is Coming’ and specials as well as a prize for the best dressed GOT fan!

Finch’s offers a 30% guarantee that nobody will be poisoned, betrayed or murdered during the night. What more can you possibly ask for?

Horse-drawn Halloween rides

Richmond Park is running 3 evenings of hour-long horse and carriage rides. Cosy up under a blanket with some sloe gin (included in the ticket price!) as your guide gives you all the spooky gossip on the park’s history, ghosts and a Victorian murder.

Spooky makeovers for your pooch at Pet Pavilion

Because Halloween is for dogs too…right?

These makeovers are free and both the Chelsea and Kensington branches are taking part at midday on Halloween (Saturday 31st October). Costumes include Dracula, Yoda and Batman. Can you really say no to that?

Check it out.

Boo at the Zoo

London Zoo is all over Halloween! Little ones love a trip to the zoo at any time but for Halloween this year the zoo is putting on a special spider exhibit for kids (and adults!) to learn about how spiders spin their webs and use their venom to hunt their prey. The exhibit opens on the 24th and runs until the 1st.

The exhibit is free with admission, but for an extra £3 kids can carve pumpkins and help ready up some fruit for the bearded pigs to get their teeth into.

Here are more details.

Whatever you’re doing this Halloween we hope you have a splendid spooky time!
